It's Time to Choose
One year post Oct 7, Israel stands at a crucial crossroad. Decisions must be made on core issues, ones that have been glossed over and ignored for years. Will the country be a modern state, a leader in the fields of science? Will it have a vibrant, sophisticated, pluralistic culture? Or will it succumb to extremism and become an isolated, fundamentalist state? An outcast,
We Are the Majority
If you can no longer recognize your own country, you are not alone. In fact – you are part of the majority. The government tells the public that the decisions it makes each day - the extreme, sectoral, arbitrary decisions - represent the will of the people.
But we checked, and we’ve got news for you: We are the majority.
Each day, Israel’s government makes crucial decisions regarding the most important issues affecting our lives: Should the state-mandated military service apply to all including the ultra-orthodox community, or should it continue exempting ultra-orthodox men, at the expense of all other military servicemen and women? Should the towns surrounding the Gaza Strip be rebuilt and resettled, or should Jewish settlements be built in the Gaza Strip itself? Should a comprehensive hostage release deal be secured, or should the deal continue to be torpedoed? Should Israel’s borders be protected, or should settlers be protected?
It is time that we make these decisions. It's time to choose.
Who We Are
The “Israeli Majority” Forum is a group of concerned citizens, who fear for the future of this country, and are determined to save it.
Among us are evacuees from the North who became refugees in their own country alongside bereaved families who lost loved ones in the Oct 7th massacre, high ranking IDF Generals alongside Reservists, displaced residents of the South alongside economists, and so many more, from all parts of Israeli society.
